Welcome to Joe's Ultimate Off Topic. JUOT.net is a unique off-topic web forum formed by members who banded together after the closing of their home, Jeeps Unlimited Off Topic by their evil Administrator at the time. We have unique mods including a "Bad Deeds" console and an "All Topic" forum that combines posts from many on-topic forums into our Off-Topic. Most forums are open to guests but to see our large off-topic forum please register. In addition to custom mods we have an extensive arcade, the gameroom, and a links directory with links to over 120 of the best quality freeware apps. We also have a networked forum where users can communicate with visitors from other sites. We aren't necessarily the friendliest group of people going but we tend to take care of our own. If you have what it takes you may be very happy here... but most likely you'll run away crying.
Can be found under the 'Community' menu in the Navbar, at the bottom... it toggles on/off a quick javascript powered Tic Tac Toe game on top of whatever page you're viewing. You can close it from within the game, or go back to the link to toggle it off, or simply load a different page.
It's 'no frills' has a few difficulty levels and brings all the action you can expect from Tic Tac Toe.
You can access JUOT.net via the alternate domain of www.juot.co

If you go to your User CP -> Edit Options you can fully customize this mod. You can turn it off completely, set a custom width and/or height, and change whether the image enlarges in the page, or in a new window, or in a new page.
Thinking of installing a simple image resizer- if a pic in a post is too large it will auto-resize it to a smaller size (so as not to throw off the page) and if you need to see it full size you click on something and the image expands to full size right on the page, not in a new window.
I'm helping Max from AMB test his latest creation, an IM Interface for vBulletin forums. I played around with it myself and it's interesting- not sure of the practical use but maybe for mobile users? I don't know, but it's here if you want to try it out. He says he uses it at work because he can have IM open but not whole web pages so maybe that can help some of you?

As everyone knows the costs of running a forum are not negligible and while I thank everyone who has helped with one-time contributions from time to time I now announce the official JUOT Paid Membership program.
It is my intention that JUOT will always be free for basic browsing and posting permissions in the main off-topic and on-topic forums. However we should also recognize those who choose to help pay the bi...
