Ya...I has one    It dropped on 10/28, but I bought it Friday morn when the Droid dropped. I wanted to wait to make up my mind. Droid has no quad band GSM, moto version is heavy as fawk.....HTC version has no flash  .Friday night, I sold my Storm1 to a friend for $225, unlocked, running the official 5.0.0.328 OS, with AT&T BlackBerry Service books on it so it will work on the EDGE network. $100 MIR, means I actually got paid to use my Storm1 for 11 months .I love it so far, so much more memory, wi fi, better screen, I unlocked it today and I am running my pre-paid AT&T SIM in it. I found Taz on crackberry...
How do you like S2? Mo betta' improvements over S1? I can't imagine that RIM has a touchscreen BB figured out ..... but I could be wrong. |

i like it better than my S1. More memory...120mb of app memory and 2 gigs internal...comes stock with a 16gig micro SD card (I have been running a 16gig card since Xmas '08 in my S1), better screen, OS is more stable, WiFi is NICE, I already SIM unlocked mine and I am running a pre-paid AT&T SIM in it as well, the intergrated buttons are nice. there's a proximity sensor in the top of it so when the phone is next to your face, it shuts the screen down but keeps the bottom 4 keys lit. when you pull it away from your face, the screen comes back to life. on my S1 i was always hitting mute in the middle of a call with it next to my face. The screen is way different....when you hit the lock button....the screen will NOT click IN at all! but the bottom 4 will. when you pull the batt...the entire screen will go dead! nothing clicks IN. I've heard there's 5 click sensors in the S2....vs the 1 main click button in the S1. also this screen does not move around at all in place like the S1 did. much more refined, much more solid, this is how the S1 should've come out last year. |
