I put the dough back in the fridge between bakings. I was thinking of getting me some ice cream, making some sammiches, buy some dry ice and then take said sammiches to VA on Friday night.
Not sure if I'll get to the ice cream place during the day Friday though. |

IF you want cookies to be nice and chewy and less "cake-y", try swapping half the butter for shortening. it doesn't change the flavor, just the texture...

Now I learned something in baking chocolate chip cookies. I also really like mine a bit chewy and not crunchy. I never thought that the butter will make a difference in the texture of the cookies.

I'm not certain this was a bot. Too focused on the original topic of the thread and coherent at that.

A cold smoker is a fire chamber, a smoke chamber and a pipe of some sort connecting the two, so your basic design is sound. However, you want the smoke chamber to shed heat, not retain it. Sod is a good insulator, so it would not be a good choice for lining the smoke chamber.
